Group Payment Operations Analyst - Swift & Payment Screening, Clearing & Giro (12-Month Contract)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and second-tier sanction screening assessments on transactions within the transaction screening system.
• Escalate cases to appropriate business units or Group Compliance when necessary.
• Ensure all alerts in the queue are resolved by the designated cut-off times.
• Manage the team mailbox when assigned and support cross-training to maintain adequate team coverage.
• Investigate and process GIRO and FAST payment inquiries and requests from bankers and business units within agreed Service Level Agreements.
• Perform daily reconciliations of ongoing investigation cases to ensure timely resolution and closure.
• Maintain detailed documentation of investigation outcomes for record-keeping, reporting, and performance measurement.
• Participate in ad-hoc assignments including user acceptance testing and projects as they arise.
• Engage in team huddles on a rotational basis to discuss operational issues, root causes, and improvement plans to enhance quality and cohesion.
• Availability to work staggered hours and on public holidays as required.
