Job Overview

The Graphic Designer role is key in crafting and delivering visual content that highlights DASNY's mission, projects, and strategic goals throughout New York State. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Brand Development and Strategic Initiatives, this position covers diverse creative projects spanning graphic design, photography, and multimedia production, supporting DASNY's brand through compelling visuals.

Key Duties

  • Create captivating visual content for both digital and print mediums such as reports, brochures, event materials, presentations, web and social media graphics while strictly following DASNY and New York State branding guidelines.
  • Capture and perform editing of photography and videos for marketing campaigns, digital outreach, and events organized by DASNY.
  • Assist in all stages of multimedia production, including planning, filming, editing, and archiving visual assets.
  • Ensure every creative output complies with DASNY’s brand identity and accessibility standards.
  • Work closely with internal teams to turn technical and project data into engaging visual stories.
  • Prepare design and media files for publication and production, ensuring precision and high-quality control.
  • Maintain and update DASNY's creative asset repository, encompassing photos, videos, templates, and design documents.
  • Inject innovative ideas and novel creative methods to improve storytelling and visual outreach.
  • Stay informed of current trends and tools related to design, photography, video, and digital media best practices.

Minimum Qualifications
