Role Overview
This part-time position is designed for interns or recent graduates who will join one of our R&D software engineering teams. In this role, you will engage in projects that have real impact for our clients, growing and enhancing your engineering skills. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, testing, and delivering scalable solutions and learning best practices from experienced engineers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- A passion for problem solving and tackling complex challenges.
- Strong foundational software engineering principles.
- Focus on creating scalable, maintainable solutions rather than just applications.
- Experience with personal programming projects undertaken independently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and learn autonomously.
- Must be or willing to be based in Christchurch, New Zealand for the duration of employment.
