Role Summary

The position targets Graduate Civil Engineers joining the Road Contracts Division with a focus on hands-on involvement in planning, executing, and managing road construction projects. Graduates collaborate directly with seasoned engineers and contribute to delivering superior road infrastructure to prominent clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Uphold and advance high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Gain comprehensive understanding of operation and maintenance requirements for both mobile and fixed plant equipment.
• Supervise processes to ensure safety and productivity benchmarks are met.
• Participate in projects aimed at enhancing sustainability and operational efficiency.
• Plan road surfacing projects meticulously, ensuring all safety regulations and job-specific documentation including traffic management plans are in place.
• Coordinate and oversee maintenance activities under guidance in quarry environments within the Road Contracts divisions.
• Monitor production outputs to guarantee that projects and products meet prescribed quality standards.
• Effectively communicate plans and relevant information to team members, contractors, and various stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Demonstrate a collaborative and positive approach to teamwork.
• Hold a clean driving license, as a company vehicle will be provided.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and self-motivation with a results-oriented mindset.
• Maintain excellent verbal and written skills in English.
• Manage and deliver results within stringent timelines.
• Possess proficient computer literacy.

Additional Information

The Graduate Programme commences at the start of September 2026. The closing date for applications is Monday, 20th July 2026. The role is based at Roadstone’s Cookstown Road, Fortunestown, Dublin location. Salary details are competitive and will be based on candidate experience.
