The Global Employee Mobility Program Lead will be based primarily at an HPE office, with flexibility for locations in the United States or Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the subject matter expert on global mobility tax matters, offering strategic advice to HR, Payroll, Legal, Finance, Talent Acquisition, regional mobility teams, and employees globally.
- Manage and lead global mobility tax initiatives encompassing international assignments, business traveler compliance, cross-border remote work, tax equalization, payroll reporting, and related compliance activities.
- Provide guidance on complex tax and mobility situations including cross-border issues, equity compliance, executive cases, mergers and acquisitions, and other specialized scenarios.
- Ensure adherence to global mobility policies, processes, and regulatory frameworks across multiple countries.
- Oversee vendor relationships, governance, and resolve escalations involving employees and business stakeholders.
- Develop and refine mobility policies, governance structures, and operational workflows to align with evolving regulation and business goals.
- Lead strategic projects related to mergers, acquisitions, workforce integration, and organizational change.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts and lead projects to enhance compliance, operational efficiency, and the employee experience.
- Identify innovative, practical, and scalable solutions to enhance global mobility programs.
Qualifications and Experience
- A university degree is mandatory; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum of seven years of experience in Global Mobility, with significant expertise in global mobility tax.
- Proven track record in a corporate global mobility function, including policy and program development and execution.
- Experience supporting global mobility tax programs within a large multinational enterprise is advantageous.
Knowledge and Skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of global mobility tax compliance including expatriate taxation, tax equalization, payroll compliance, and business traveler tax matters.
- Strong financial insight covering budgeting, forecasting, accruals, and cost control.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate fast-paced, global environments managing multiple priorities.
- Skilled in vendor management, governance, and risk mitigation.
- Expertise in solving complex business challenges by implementing creative and scalable solutions.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management capabilities.
- Effective collaboration across global, cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to advise on compliance and risk.
- Experience with domestic and international policy development and implementation.

Important Additional Information
The role is designed as onsite with expected office presence. For US locations such as Texas, the salary range is approximately USD 92,600 to 213,500 annually, subject to adjustments for location, experience, education, and skills. Variable incentives may also apply.
