About the role
Zenity is hiring a Global Communications Manager to lead its communications program end to end. This role covers media and analyst relations, executive communications, internal communications, corporate messaging, and social channels. The mission is to translate a complex, fast-evolving story around AI security into strong market visibility, trusted coverage, and clear category leadership.
This is a hands-on builder position in a company that is still scaling, so you will help shape the strategy while also driving execution. You will work closely with founders and senior leaders, oversee internal communications, and coordinate PR agencies across different regions. The goal is to make Zenity highly visible in the conversations that define the AI security space.
About Zenity
Zenity is positioned as a leader in AI Agent Security and was the first company to launch an agent-centric security platform. As enterprises adopt AI agents more broadly, Zenity is building the security framework for how these agents are protected and governed at enterprise scale.
The company provides end-to-end visibility, governance, detection, prevention, and response for AI agents from build stage through runtime, across SaaS applications, custom-built platforms, and end-user devices. Zenity is supported by more than $55M in funding, including a $38M Series B backed by Microsoft’s M12, and is trusted by Fortune 500 companies worldwide.
Zenity is an equal opportunity employer and values a team made up of varied backgrounds and experiences. The company is committed to creating an inclusive environment where people can do their best work securely, confidently, and with impact.
What you'll do
- Shape and manage Zenity’s worldwide media strategy across business, cybersecurity, AI, and enterprise technology outlets.
- Develop lasting working relationships with reporters, editors, and analysts who influence the AI security conversation.
- Create communications assets that support coverage, including pitches, press announcements, bylines, talking points, briefing materials, and fast-turn commentary.
- Build and operate a rapid-response process for breaking news, emerging threats, and developments in the agentic AI space, working closely with internal subject-matter experts.
- Coordinate and evaluate PR agencies in multiple markets, ensuring they deliver measurable results.
- Refine Zenity’s core story and messaging framework as the company and product category evolve.
- Grow the external presence of the CEO and senior leaders through thought leadership, keynote opportunities, podcasts, speaking engagements, and social content.
- Lead internal and executive communications so the organization remains aligned and well informed as it scales.
- Advise leaders on messaging, positioning, and sensitive or high-stakes communication decisions.
- Set the executive and corporate social media direction so it aligns with brand voice and communications goals.
- Work with product marketing on launches to keep messaging consistent across press materials, analyst conversations, and sales assets.
- Increase visibility across owned and earned channels, including how Zenity appears in AI-generated search results.
- Measure coverage, share of voice, sentiment, and analyst perception, then use that data to improve strategy.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in media relations, PR, or corporate communications, with a substantial portion in cybersecurity.
- Strong understanding of how security buyers evaluate solutions, how the threat landscape changes, and how the security and technology press operates.
- A track record of building relationships with relevant reporters, editors, and analysts and turning those relationships into meaningful coverage.
- Ability to turn technical AI topics, including GenAI, agentic AI, and the associated risks, into stories that resonate with media and analysts.
- Experience writing for executives in a way that captures their voice across bylines, speeches, and social posts.
- Background managing PR agencies and budgets, including work across international markets, with clear accountability for results.
- Experience managing or developing communications talent, or readiness to take on a direct-report responsibility.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, remote environment while balancing strategy and hands-on execution.
- Ability to create systems, processes, and relationships rather than only maintaining existing ones.
- Confidence working in environments that are still evolving and where best practices are being built in real time.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ownership mindset with a focus on outcomes rather than activity alone.
- Experience in high-growth or venture-backed companies.
- Exposure to AI, security, or emerging technology ecosystems.
Why this role stands out
- You will own the full communications narrative, spanning media, analysts, executive voice, internal communications, and social.
- You will work directly with founders who already have credibility in AI security, giving you a strong platform to amplify rather than build authority from scratch.
- You will help define the language of a category that is still being created in real time.
- You will join a company that combines the credibility of a Microsoft-backed, Fortune 500-trusted business with the flexibility of an earlier-stage Series B organization.
