General Operative

Job Overview

Wilsons Auctions, the largest independent auction house in the UK and Ireland with 10 branches across both countries, is expanding. Our Dublin location is seeking to fill two General Operative positions.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter data into the auction management system.
• Respond to public inquiries and provide general customer assistance.
• Complete administrative tasks efficiently.
• Photograph items intended for auction.
• Prepare and process auction assets.
• Maintain and upkeep the Disposal Hall area.

Essential Requirements

• Possession of a clean, valid driving license held for over three years.
• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Proficient computer literacy.
• Practical, hands-on work ethic.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Capable of managing workload within deadlines.
• Flexible with working hours as needed.
• Experience in a warehousing context.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current forklift operation license.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break, including possible additional hours when necessary.
