General Cleaner

Position Overview

We are currently seeking reliable and diligent individuals for the role of General Cleaner at an educational facility, working the day shift from Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of buildings, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors as well as cleaning various surfaces.
• Collect and dispose of trash appropriately.
• Maintain restrooms by supplying, cleaning, and servicing them regularly.
• Prepare cleaning solutions by mixing agents following specified guidelines.
• Relocate heavy equipment, furniture, and other objects as needed.
• Identify and report any repair needs within the facility.
• Conduct floor care tasks such as steam cleaning carpets, waxing, buffing, among others.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Candidate Qualifications

• Possess good physical stamina and manual dexterity to carry out duties.
• Ability to recognize safety hazards and communicate them effectively to relevant personnel.
• Own reliable transportation to commute to the workplace.
• Capability to adhere to schedules and maintain commitments.
• Ability to follow supervisor instructions accurately.
• Maintain professionalism in all work activities.
