General Assistant

Overview

SPAR Dundalk Carrick Rd is looking to recruit friendly, dependable, and customer-oriented General Assistants. Opportunities are available for both full-time and part-time employment. This role involves providing excellent service across all store departments in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the store
• Assist customers by addressing inquiries and offering product knowledge
• Restock shelves and organize merchandise effectively
• Ensure the store maintains high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Operate the checkout and manage cash handling accurately
• Contribute to daily store operations collaboratively with team members
• Offer support as needed across various retail areas including checkout, fresh food, and deli sections

Candidate Requirements

• Strong customer service abilities with excellent interpersonal communication
• Capability to work efficiently within a team and independently using initiative
• Self-driven with a constructive and positive mindset
• Attention to detail and reliability with a flexible approach to work schedules
• Previous experience in retail is advantageous but not a strict requirement
