Job Responsibilities
The housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order throughout resident apartments, common areas, and interior spaces on campus. Duties include:
- Cleaning fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and tubs thoroughly
- Making beds with fresh, clean linens
- Emptying and sanitizing waste containers and replenishing liners
- Performing high and low dusting to remove dust buildup
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to ensure hygiene
Candidate Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred, ideally in hospitality, healthcare, environmental services, or senior living communities
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
- A valid and current driver's license if applicable
- Working hours from either 7:30 am to 4:00 pm or 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Capability to operate and maintain various housekeeping and laundry equipment
- Knowledge of infection control practices, hazardous waste handling, and disaster preparedness plans
- Compliance with Florida's Care Provider Background Screening requirements is mandatory

Compensation
