Role Summary
This contract position is for a Frontend Web Developer focused on HTML and CSS. The work is fully remote, so you can contribute from any location. The assignment supports a client project that needs responsive, polished interface development.
What You’ll Do
- Create and update front-end UI pieces using HTML, CSS, and closely related technologies.
- Build layouts that adapt smoothly across screen sizes and devices.
- Work closely with design teams to turn visual mockups into accurate, functional web components.
- Check that pages render consistently across different browsers and devices.
- Improve front-end speed, usability, and accessibility where possible.
- Take part in code reviews and follow established development practices.
Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate should be comfortable with semantic HTML and strong CSS fundamentals, including responsive and mobile-first design. Experience using CSS tools or frameworks such as SASS, LESS, Bootstrap, or Tailwind is helpful. You should also know how to use browser developer tools for debugging and be able to implement designs from Figma, Sketch, or similar design software.

Pay
The payout for this contract role is $30 to $80 per hour.
