Role Overview
Join Legion Labs as a Frontend Developer, where your main responsibility will be designing and coding web applications as part of our advanced, cloud-native Legion Engine platform. You will oversee both the architectural design and development of these applications, collaborating closely with the UI/UX and development teams to build pipelines essential for game production. Also, you will coordinate with other internal areas to deliver tailored applications that meet their demands.
Primary Duties
- Develop new web-based applications and build pipelines to support game production workflows.
- Improve and add features to existing web applications based on requirements.
- Contribute to creating a highly efficient video game development environment.
- Produce clean, well-tested, and thoroughly documented code.
- Work alongside designers to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum of four years of experience in web development.
- Strong comprehension of web user interface technologies.
- Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and understanding build systems.
- Proficient with version control systems.
- Hands-on experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, or Svelte.
- Comfortable programming in TypeScript or other strongly typed languages.
- Solid skills in CSS, including usage with or without preprocessors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Rust programming language.
- Experience contributing to open source projects and using platforms like GitHub.
- Knowledge of cloud-based development and streaming technologies.
- Background working with AAA game engines.
- Experience with communication protocols including gRPC-web and WebRTC.
- Previous work on complex and demanding client-side applications.
- Usage of Tailwind CSS or other atomic CSS frameworks.
