Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals adhering to recipes, production guidelines, and safety protocols.
• Keep kitchen and serving areas sanitary and safe to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Stock and replenish serving lines, salad bars, and beverage coolers consistently.
• Implement proper food storage, rotation, and sanitation techniques.
• Provide courteous meal service to students, staff, and visitors.
• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries and managing inventory.
• Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal as needed.
• Support colleagues by filling in on shifts and contributing to teamwork.
• Complete assigned reports and meet operational deadlines.
• Fulfill additional tasks required to aid the kitchen team and facilitate the school meal program.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Prior experience in food service or cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
• Demonstrates strong work discipline and the ability to collaborate well with others.
• Comfortable performing repetitive duties within a routine framework.
• Possess basic arithmetic and computer skills.
• Successfully pass background and fingerprint screenings.
• Reliable transportation is necessary.
• Enjoy engaging in a school community environment and working with children.
• Maintain respectful, inclusive, and professional behavior toward all coworkers and patrons.
• Physically able to stand throughout shifts and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Capable of frequent bending, reaching, walking, and using hands in a moderately noisy, fast-paced kitchen setting.
• Work schedule typically Monday through Friday full-time, with potential for occasional longer weeks.
• May be required to participate in company meetings or events.
