Company Overview
Strategytech Ventures seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Finance & Administration Associate to join their team. This opportunity suits candidates with up to one year of experience in finance or accounting, as well as recent graduates with excellent academics.
Role Summary
This position provides a platform to build foundational finance skills alongside exposure to hedge fund operations, financial analysis, investment performance reporting, and business administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Support hedge fund processes including trade reconciliation, performance tracking, and investment reporting.
- Compile dashboards and reports to measure trading results, portfolio statistics, and investment gains.
- Analyze investment and trading data to aid financial decision making.
- Manage invoices, payments, and expense documentation.
- Conduct reconciliation of bank statements and financial transactions.
- Contribute to preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial evaluations.
- Ensure adherence to internal financial policies and documentation standards.
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic records.
- Arrange meetings, schedules, and document preparation.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and official correspondence.
- Support daily administrative and operational office functions.
- Liaise with teams to facilitate efficient office operations.
Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (preferably B.Com), Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Up to one year of experience in finance or accounting; fresh graduates are welcome.
- Preferred immediate availability to join.
- Strong academic track record with consistent high grades in mathematics and overall performance at secondary and tertiary levels.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills alongside robust analytical and quantitative abilities.
- NISM certification in Securities and Derivatives is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Tally accounting software is a plus.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and full Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
