Finance Business Analyst

Role overview

Goldtech Resources PTE LTD is looking for a Finance Business Analyst to support finance stakeholders in Singapore. This role focuses on understanding operational issues, shaping process improvements, and helping deliver transformation initiatives across core finance areas.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with finance teams to understand their challenges and identify opportunities to improve how work is done.
• Collect, analyze, and document business needs along with current and future process maps.
• Assess and refine finance workflows across Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Order-to-Cash (O2C).
• Contribute to finance transformation and continuous improvement programs.
• Lead or support workshops, working sessions, and requirements discussions with business users.
• Prepare business cases, gap assessments, and functional requirement documents.
• Plan and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist with change management efforts.
• Make sure proposed solutions comply with finance policies, controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with teams across functions to help projects move forward successfully.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience working as a Business Analyst in finance-related environments.
• Sound working knowledge of General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, Financial Reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
• Prior exposure to finance transformation, process enhancement, or ERP implementation work.
• Strong ability to manage stakeholders and communicate clearly with different groups.
• Comfortable converting business needs into detailed functional requirements.
• Experience in running workshops and coordinating UAT tasks.
• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.
