Job Overview

We are seeking skilled Filleters to join our growing team in Dubai. The role involves hand filleting and portioning of fish and may include tasks such as seafood processing, packaging, and keeping the work environment clean and hygienic. Ideal candidates should have prior experience in fish filleting, possess good communication abilities, and pay close attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle and prepare food items specifically seafood products.
• Inspect and verify the quality of received fish stock.
• Ensure proper re-icing of fish inventory to maintain freshness.
• Fillet, portion, peel, and cut various seafood items as required.
• Package stock accurately according to specific orders.
• Maintain and manage fish inventory effectively.
• Follow directions provided by the production supervisor.

Cleanliness and Hygiene Duties

• Clean designated facility areas including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and ceiling vents.
• Wash work surfaces, walls, refrigerators, and maintain overall sanitation.
• Separate and dispose of waste and garbage in designated containers.
• Clean delivery boxes and utensils and store them properly in designated places.

Qualifications and Experience

• Completed high school education.
• Prior experience in filleting and handling seafood products.
• Proficient with knives and aware of safe knife handling techniques.
• Strong enthusiasm for quality seafood products.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English.
• Conscientious adherence to safety and hygiene standards in the workplace.
• Basic skills in performing mathematical calculations.
