Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Fashion Designer at Affifa will be responsible for conceptualizing and curating collections that align both with current fashion trends and the brand's distinctive identity. The role involves comprehensive involvement from trend analysis to hands-on collaboration with multiple teams.

• Create original sketches, mood boards, detailed tech packs, and select color palettes that reflect the vision of the brand.
• Analyze and predict upcoming fashion trends, both locally and globally, to keep collections relevant.
• Source appropriate fabrics and trims, maintaining communication with suppliers to ensure quality and availability.
• Work closely with the Public Relations team to support brand campaigns, collaborations, and photoshoots.
• Participate actively in fittings, sampling processes, and oversee quality control standards throughout production.
• Collaborate with merchandisers and production teams to ensure collections are delivered on schedule.

Qualifications and Skills

• Expertise in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Excellent sketching and visualization capabilities to translate ideas into designs.
• In-depth knowledge of garment construction techniques and textile materials.
• Strong attention to detail combined with an innate aesthetic sense.
• Effective communication skills and excellent time management abilities.
