Overview
The Family Peer Support Worker position is designed to provide support to family members or significant others of individuals undergoing mental health challenges and receiving care from HSE mental health services.
Role and Responsibilities
- Offer practical aid to family members to help them cope with the effects of mental illness on their lives.
- Bring personal lived experience to contribute to service enhancements and improvements.
- Support the recovery journey for both themselves and others by sharing insights from a family member's perspective.
