Job Overview
We are recruiting experienced Excavator and Dozer Operators for a long-term FIFO project located in the Western Australia Goldfields. The employment begins late July to early August 2026 and offers a 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy mobile equipment safely and efficiently including CAT or Komatsu 100T+ Excavators and CAT D8-D10 Dozers.
- Perform bulk earthworks and participate in civil mining operations.
- Load haul trucks and transport materials.
- Excavator duties include double bench digging, single flitch mining, and batter work.
- Dozer duties include tip head operations, ripping, bulk pushing, and digger floor clean-up.
- Conduct pre-start inspections and report any equipment defects.
- Adhere to safety protocols and achieve production objectives.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 3 years' experience operating CAT or Komatsu 100T+ Excavators or CAT D8-D10 Dozers.
- Background in production mining or large-scale civil earthworks.
- Experience on lithium projects is an advantage.
- Possession of valid operating tickets and licences relevant to the machinery.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
- National Police Clearance dated within the past 12 months.
- Capability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol tests.
- Two recent supervisor-level work references.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly wage ranging between $65 and $80, based on experience.
- Weekly pay with superannuation paid on all hours.
- FIFO roster scheduled 2 weeks on, 1 week off from Perth.
