Information Technology - End User Computing (EUC) Engineer

Role Overview

The successful candidate will become part of the SIA Group's IT Infrastructure team, significantly contributing to the transformation of End-User Computing (EUC) by integrating AI-driven innovations and automation. This role aims to maintain a secure, optimized, and future-ready IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with both internal departments and external vendors to oversee and execute EUC projects efficiently, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
• Incorporate AI and automation solutions to optimize workflow processes, enhance operational efficiency, and minimize manual interventions.
• Administer and support Microsoft platforms including Entra, Intune, and Office 365, ensuring their performance and security are maximized.
• Design and deploy automated processes for user provisioning, patching, software distribution, and compliance monitoring.
• Manage end-user devices such as laptops, smartphones, and tablets, guaranteeing they meet security and compliance standards and remain updated.
• Leverage automation for patch updates, security enhancements, and compliance verifications to reduce manual workload and boost efficiency.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot EUC-related issues, employing AI-powered diagnostic tools to reduce downtime and improve user satisfaction.
• Apply predictive analytics and machine learning to anticipate and mitigate potential technical problems proactively.
• Develop comprehensive technical documentation, user manuals, and training resources with the help of AI-driven knowledge management tools to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Collaborate closely with IT colleagues and other organizational units to guarantee smooth IT service delivery and promote teamwork towards common objectives.
• Monitor emerging technologies in AI, automation, and EUC, assessing their applicability in enhancing IT operations and driving technological advancement within the organization.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Minimum of three years of practical experience in an EUC Engineer or equivalent IT Infrastructure position.
• Proven expertise in troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Knowledgeable in networking, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), AWS Cloud, and information security fundamentals.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft technologies such as Entra, Office 365, and Intune.
• Industry-acknowledged certifications like MCSE, CCNA/CCNP, AWS, and ITIL highly desirable.
• Preferred certifications in AI, machine learning, or automation frameworks (e.g., Microsoft AI Engineer, AWS Machine Learning, UiPath).
• Strong verbal and written communication capabilities, adept at simplifying technical topics for non-technical audiences.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities and a commitment to superior customer service, emphasizing user experience improvements through AI and automation.
• Proactive engagement with emerging tech trends in AI, automation, and EUC to drive organizational progress.
