About the Role
JCPL Solar, a leading Solar EPC company, is seeking an experienced Electrical Executive to perform field-based electrical installations, testing, and commissioning of Solar PV systems across multiple locations in Uttar Pradesh. The role demands practical expertise in solar electrical installation and fault resolution in on-site environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute electrical installations for Solar PV systems including DC and AC wiring, cable laying, terminations, and connections.
- Install and test electrical components like Inverters, LT Panels, ACDB, DCDB, SPD, MCBs, and MCCBs.
- Plan and supervise daily site activities for solar installations ensuring adherence to drawings and quality standards.
- Guide installation teams and technicians while maintaining safety compliance and work quality.
- Conduct comprehensive testing and commissioning of solar plants including voltage, current, insulation, and earthing resistance checks.
- Provide technical support during plant handover and troubleshoot electrical faults, inverter errors, and wiring issues.
- Maintain safety protocols, ensure PPE usage, and prevent unsafe practices onsite.
- Complete documentation such as Daily Progress Reports, Material Consumption Reports, Installation Checklists, and Commissioning Reports.
Technical and Soft Skills
The ideal candidate possesses hands-on electrical wiring proficiency, a fundamental understanding of solar PV system workings, and technical know-how to install and operate inverters and protective devices. Comfortable reading Single Line Diagrams and using measurement tools like multimeters, clamp meters, and meggers is essential. Soft skills include team leadership, professional communication at client sites, problem-solving capability, time management, willingness for field work, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility
Applicants should hold a Diploma or ITI in Electrical and have at least one year of experience, preferably in solar EPC field work related to installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Candidates must have their own two-wheeler and a valid driving license with required vehicle documents to travel regularly to project sites covering distances between 50 to 100 km daily. Candidate readiness to travel to various locations like Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Ghaziabad, Baghpat, Baraut, and Etah is mandatory.

- Ensure zero safety violations on site.
- Deliver quality workmanship with minimal complaints.
- Achieve successful first-time commissioning of installations.
- Maintain customer satisfaction and accurate reporting.
