Electrical Design Engineer for EV Bikes - Bengaluru

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru on a 6-month contractual basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering disciplines related to EV bikes, including designing schematics and wiring harnesses, and collaborating across departments to ensure seamless product development and production.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and develop detailed electrical schematics and wiring harnesses utilizing OrCAD software.
• Prepare and maintain accurate Bills of Materials and comprehensive engineering documentation.
• Select suitable components and aid in the overall electrical system design processes.
• Conduct assembly testing and validation; document findings through technical reports.
• Work closely with manufacturing, sourcing, and quality assurance teams to facilitate product development and successful production launches.
• Diagnose design challenges and apply necessary engineering modifications.
• Support product testing, validation activities, design for excellence (DFx), and carry out root cause analysis investigations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or Electronics & Communication Engineering.
• 4 to 6 years of relevant professional experience in electrical design engineering.
• Proficiency in OrCAD and skills in electrical schematic and wiring harness design.
• Experience managing Bills of Materials and engineering documentation.
• Competence in component selection, product testing, DFx methodologies, and root cause analysis.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Preference for candidates who can join immediately.

Compensation and Benefits

• Monthly salary ranging from ₹25,000 to ₹30,000 (in-hand)
• Provident Fund (PF) benefits along with performance incentives.
