About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Assist members, providers, and pharmacies by addressing pharmacy inquiries, benefit questions, prior authorization requests, and issues related to pharmacy claims.
- Investigate and resolve concerns involving pharmacy claims, eligibility, coverage, and medications while adhering to service standards.
- Review, document, and process pharmacy transactions and requests following client, regulatory, and operational guidelines.
- Leverage multiple systems and resources to thoroughly investigate issues, deliver solutions, and maintain detailed documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams, healthcare professionals, and external parties to ensure high-quality service and member satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Preferred certification: Active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).
- Prior experience in pharmacy operations support, including prior authorizations, pharmacy claims, PBM services, managed care programs, specialty pharmacy, or healthcare customer support is desirable.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
- Proficiency in using pharmacy systems, multiple computer applications, and documentation tools with a keen attention to accuracy.
Additional Role Information
- Provide operational support across various pharmacy programs and client services involving members, providers, pharmacies, and healthcare professionals.
- Engage in researching and resolving pharmacy-related benefits, claims, medication inquiries, prior authorizations, and related services.
- Document interactions and resolve issues promptly by employing multiple systems and resources.
- Participate in ongoing training and development initiatives to broaden pharmacy, healthcare, and customer service expertise.

Compensation and Hiring Process
The expected annual pay ranges from $35,900 to $51,300 depending on location, qualifications, experience, and other factors. Applications will be reviewed actively with an anticipated start date in August 2026.
