About the Role

You will work as a senior software engineer focused on designing, developing, testing, and optimizing secure, scalable, and resilient enterprise-grade applications. These applications are engineered using technologies such as .NET, Python, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, and SQL Server. Additionally, you will leverage Azure cloud services to build robust hybrid solutions that enhance business efficiency and provide sustainable value in a global business context.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable enterprise applications utilizing .NET technologies including C#, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and .NET Framework to support essential business operations with high availability and performance.
• Develop and maintain reliable server-side components written in Python 3, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and data sources for consistent multi-environment behavior.
• Design efficient data access layers with SQL Server and SQL, focusing on query optimization, transaction reliability, and enabling advanced data reporting capabilities.
• Build user-friendly, accessible, and responsive front-end interfaces using JavaScript and related libraries to provide smooth user experiences.
• Incorporate Azure platform capabilities such as web applications, storage, and identity management to improve scalability, security, and operational excellence for hybrid deployments.
• Develop comprehensive unit, integration, and regression test suites to uphold software quality and minimize defects throughout multiple release cycles.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, business analysts, and QA teams to clarify requirements, refine user stories, and translate business objectives into detailed technical specifications.
• Refactor legacy codebases to enhance maintainability, decrease technical debt, and align with organizational technology standards for long-term stability.
• Implement security best practices including secure coding, input validation, and robust error handling to protect sensitive data and comply with regulatory standards while minimizing vulnerabilities.
• Participate actively in code reviews and knowledge exchange sessions to promote uniform engineering practices, encourage code reuse, and foster continuous professional development within the team.
• Analyze production incidents using logs, metrics, and diagnostics to quickly isolate root causes, propose fixes, and prevent future issues with systematic improvements.
• Contribute technical insights to release planning, estimation, and sprint commitments to help balance scope, risks, and timelines effectively.
• Document architectural designs, data workflows, and configuration details clearly to facilitate ongoing support, extension, and operation of solutions by engineering teams and stakeholders.
• Engage with stakeholders especially in mortgage loan or financial services domains when applicable, to understand domain-specific requirements, translate business rules into system logic, and design features that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

Qualification Requirements

• Possess six to eight years of practical software engineering experience with a strong foundation in .NET, C#, and .NET Framework focused on complex enterprise software development.
• Demonstrate advanced expertise in ASP.NET Core and ASP.NET MVC for building secure, modular, and maintainable web applications adaptable to evolving business needs.
• Proficient in Python 3 for engineering backend services, automation utilities, and scripting to complement core application functionality and improve engineering processes.
• Highly skilled in SQL Server and T-SQL techniques including query optimization, indexing strategies, and stored procedure development to support transactional and analytical database operations.
• Experience deploying, monitoring, and scaling applications on Microsoft Azure cloud platform, employing best practices for security, resilience, and cost-efficiency within hybrid environments.
• Competent in front-end development with JavaScript to create interactive and integrative client-side features working cohesively with server-side APIs and frameworks.
• Familiarity or prior experience in mortgage lending or financial services domains is advantageous to understand domain-specific business rules, risk management, and user expectations.
• Ability to operate efficiently in a hybrid working environment using collaboration tools, clear written communication, and proactive coordination to align with distributed global teams.
