Key Responsibilities

• Lead assigned district locations, ensuring exemplary customer service, operational efficiency, employee productivity, and profitability.
• Guarantee strict adherence to safety regulations including vehicle servicing, appropriate use of safety gear, and compliance with state and federal installation standards.
• Formulate and execute strategic plans aimed at long-term customer growth and financial success.
• Oversee accurate and timely completion of daily, weekly, and monthly operational processes and reporting.
• Develop and manage staffing by effectively communicating organizational goals to foster employee growth and engagement.
• Monitor and control operating expenses by optimizing employee productivity, vehicle use, scheduling, and distribution systems.
• Ensure compliance with cash handling, inventory controls, documentation standards, and auditing procedures.
• Be actively involved in all district purchasing and expenditure decisions.

Supervisory Duties

• Coordinate and verify timely completion of all safety meetings.
• Manage vehicle and employee compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) standards to avoid violations.
• Conduct performance evaluations for all branch managers within the district.
• Ensure branch operations adhere to budget restrictions for staffing and hours.

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma is mandatory; college degree is preferred.
• Minimum five years of propane industry experience, including some management roles.
• Proven ability to manage multiple locations simultaneously.
• In-depth knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements.
• Possession of a current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is advantageous.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and time management capabilities.
