Position Summary
The PMO Director will lead the company’s Project Management Office from a strategic standpoint, shaping governance, portfolio oversight, delivery performance, and transformation efforts across technology and consulting services. This role is accountable for ensuring that project investments support EjadTech’s business priorities while maintaining strong execution standards, efficient operations, and a high level of client satisfaction.
Strategic PMO Leadership
- Set the PMO direction, operating approach, and long-term strategy so it supports the organization’s overall objectives.
- Create and maintain company-wide governance structures, project methodologies, policies, and standards.
- Raise PMO maturity through ongoing improvement initiatives across the business.
- Lead portfolio planning, prioritization, and allocation of resources across projects.
- Make sure project spending and delivery results are aligned with business goals.
- Deliver portfolio updates, executive insights, and performance reports to senior leadership.
Portfolio and Project Governance
- Manage the complete portfolio of technology and consulting initiatives.
- Ensure work is completed within the approved scope, budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
- Track portfolio status, project outcomes, risks, dependencies, and utilization of resources.
- Oversee stage-gate reviews, approval flows, and executive decision forums.
- Confirm that contractual obligations, deliverables, and client commitments are met.
- Direct project closure activities, including completion certificates, client acceptance, and formal transition handovers.
Organizational Performance and Operational Excellence
- Develop PMO tools, dashboards, reporting structures, and performance indicators.
- Implement portfolio practices that enable growth and scalability.
- Spot opportunities to improve processes and operating efficiency.
- Encourage the use of project management best practices and strong delivery discipline across the organization.
- Support strategic programs, transformation initiatives, and corporate planning activities.
Leadership and Capability Development
- Guide, coach, and develop PMO managers, project managers, and delivery personnel.
- Help create a high-performing project management culture throughout the organization.
- Encourage close coordination among business, consulting, technology, and executive teams.
- Promote professional growth and stronger project management capabilities.
Executive and Client Stakeholder Management
- Act as the main executive lead for PMO governance and portfolio oversight.
- Develop and sustain effective relationships with executive leaders, clients, and strategic partners.
- Represent EjadTech in steering committees, governance boards, and leadership meetings with clients.
- Support strong client satisfaction and durable long-term partnerships.
Qualifications
Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline. A master’s degree such as an MBA or an equivalent qualification is preferred. PMP certification is mandatory, while PgMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, Agile, or similar credentials are strongly desired. The role calls for at least 15 years of project management experience, including 5 years or more in PMO leadership or executive delivery positions. Candidates should have a track record of leading enterprise PMOs and handling large-scale technology and consulting portfolios, along with a solid grasp of governance frameworks, portfolio management, organizational transformation, and business strategy.
