Role overview
Arthur Mallon Foods is seeking driven Dispatch Operatives to join a busy dispatch function. The role is focused on keeping production flowing by preparing, organising, and sending out products accurately and efficiently.
Working hours
This is a 40-hour per week day-shift position, scheduled from 08:30 to 17:00. The working pattern runs Monday to Saturday on a rota basis.

- Starting hourly pay is €14.25, rising to €15.00 after probation.

Key purpose of the role
You will work as part of the dispatch team to pick orders, and load and unload lorries when needed. The position also involves helping ensure customers receive products that are high quality, safe, and compliant with legal standards. Personal accountability and adherence to company rules are essential.
Main duties
- Follow the procedures set out in the company Standard Operating Manual.
- Keep the work area clean and orderly.
- Work in line with HACCP requirements.
- Wear the correct uniform at all times.
- Maintain excellent personal hygiene.
- Comply with all company policies and rules.
- Remain flexible and be willing to move to other tasks within the business unit when required.
- Carry out manual product handling, repetitive tasks, work in chilled conditions, and stand for long periods.
Requirements
- Clear written and spoken English communication skills are essential.
- Prior experience in stores or dispatch is required.
- Forklift or Powered Pallet Truck experience is an advantage.
- Applicants must have the legal right to work in Ireland.
