About the Role

We're inviting a proactive and meticulous Demand Planning & Replenishment Lead to join our Macquarie Park, NSW-based Supply Chain team where accountability, excellence in planning, and continuous improvement are core principles.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain precise demand forecasts for Jack Link's and partner 3PL sites, working closely with Sales.
  • Collaborate with Sales teams to comprehend forecast assumptions, promotions, customer behaviors, and risks in pipeline.
  • Analyze demand history and market data to enhance forecast accuracy, minimizing bias.
  • Manage demand signals within ERP or planning systems to ensure supply plans align correctly.
  • Facilitate Demand S&OP meetings, ensuring alignment across Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations.
  • Prepare and communicate demand performance reports, highlighting risks and action strategies.
  • Coordinate monthly S&OP cycle inputs ensuring data accuracy and timely submission.
  • Document meeting outcomes, monitor action items, and promote stakeholder accountability.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive demand KPIs including forecast accuracy measures, service levels, inventory coverage, excess and at-risk stock.
  • Provide actionable insights to improve demand planning quality and inventory management.
  • Communicate supply risks, forecast changes, and mitigation plans effectively to stakeholders.
  • Identify causes behind forecast variances and propose corrective actions.
  • Oversee inventory forecasts and replenishment across Jack Link's factories and 3PL warehouses in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Monitor stock balances to optimize service performance versus inventory investment.
  • Manage intercompany purchase and sales orders to meet market supply needs.
  • Optimize intercompany container shipments for efficient production volume.
  • Validate export shipments and ensure correct documentation.
  • Coordinate domestic stock transfers and support reconciliation between ERP and 3PL systems.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2 to 5+ years experience in production planning or scheduling within manufacturing or FMCG sectors.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, Business Central preferred, and familiarity with MRP systems like SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Pronto, or equivalents.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical thinking, excellent planning ability, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Capability to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
  • Clear and confident communicator with both shop floor and office-based teams.
  • Organized, disciplined, and able to adjust plans swiftly under pressure.
