About the Role
BuzzClan seeks an experienced Demand Generation Specialist responsible for building a robust sales pipeline, focusing on converting brand awareness into qualified leads. This position covers the entire funnel—from increasing visibility to handing off vetted leads—utilizing a strategic blend of inbound, outbound, organic, and content-focused channels that truly deliver results. Serving enterprise and public sector clients across the United States, the role demands precise targeting to engage the right buyers with impactful messaging at the optimal time.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the demand generation funnel end-to-end: set objectives, design campaigns, and ensure lead quality and quantity.
- Execute diverse multi-channel campaigns involving SEO, LinkedIn, email marketing, content syndication, and outbound sequences prioritizing conversions over aesthetics.
- Develop targeted outbound strategies guided by intent signals, curated account lists, and sales focus; collaborate closely with sales teams to align ideal customer profiles (ICP), messaging, and timing.
- Create and refine landing pages, nurture email sequences, and campaign materials that effectively guide prospects through the buying process.
- Lead SEO efforts by performing keyword research, creating detailed content benchmarks, optimizing on-page elements, and monitoring rankings for high-intent keywords relevant to core services.
- Analyze campaign performance via tools such as Google Analytics 4, SEMrush, and Google Search Console; provide actionable insights by discontinuing underperforming initiatives and iterating quickly.
- Collaborate with leadership to shape go-to-market strategies for new offerings, events, and partner programs (including Atlassian, Microsoft, and AI-related products).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five years’ experience in demand generation, growth marketing, or B2B campaign management within technology services, SaaS, or IT consulting sectors.
- Track record of delivering pipeline growth with measurable program results.
- Solid grasp of SEO principles including keyword research, understanding search intent, on-page optimization, and how content architecture influences rankings.
- Advanced LinkedIn marketing skills encompassing organic audience building, engagement strategies, and lead generation beyond basic posting.
- Proficient in outbound marketing techniques such as sequencing, personalization, and leveraging intent data to prioritize target accounts.
- Data-driven decision-maker who uses analytics to guide strategy rather than produce unused reports.
- Good command of writing basics — capable of identifying off-brand, unclear, or ineffective copywriting.
- Highly self-motivated and capable of independently executing strategies with minimal support.
Preferred Skills
- Experience marketing to public sector, SLED (State, Local & Education), or enterprise IT buyers.
- Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM tools such as HubSpot, Apollo, or Clay.
- Knowledge of AI-powered tools for speeding content creation and research.
- Background in supporting partner or reseller go-to-market campaigns.
