Overview
This role supports routine administrative and business processing work focused on data entry. The position is fully remote and is offered as a contract expected to run for 4+ months, with a strong chance of extension.
Role summary
The work centers on accurate, process-driven data handling in a structured environment. The position calls for a solid grasp of data entry practices and general business operations, with tasks typically handled under close supervision and within clearly defined procedures. In some situations, the role may also involve more involved assignments and guiding or reviewing the work of junior data entry staff.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out routine administrative and data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Follow established operating procedures and work instructions closely.
- Handle standard business-processing requests and related data tasks.
- Take on more complex data entry assignments when needed.
- Review, direct, or check the work completed by lower-level data entry personnel, if assigned.
Requirements
- Strong familiarity with data entry practices and basic business or operational workflows.
- Ability to work from well-defined procedures with limited supervision.
- Intermediate-level Excel skills are required.
- Experience with Microsoft Teams is required.
- Medicare-related experience is preferred.
