Data Architect

Position Overview and Contract Details

This contract-based role for a Data Architect is located onsite in Doha, Qatar, with an initial duration of six months and the possibility of extension. Candidates residing outside Qatar are encouraged to apply; visa and medical insurance will be arranged, though relocation costs are not covered.

Required Qualifications and Expertise

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in data architecture, data management, or data engineering.
• Proficient understanding of data modeling, database design, and data integration techniques.
• Hands-on experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Knowledge of data governance, quality assurance, security protocols, and compliance standards.
• Ability to engage effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and clear communication capabilities.
• Competent in designing scalable and secure enterprise-level data solutions.
• Experience in supporting data migration, modernization, and digital transformation projects.

Primary Responsibilities

• Establish and uphold enterprise-wide data architecture, standards, and best practices.
• Design data models at conceptual, logical, and physical levels.
• Develop and maintain scalable architectures for data platforms, including warehouses, lakes, and analytics systems.
• Work collaboratively with business and technical teams to identify and fulfill data requirements.
• Implement frameworks ensuring data governance, quality, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Support cloud-based data initiatives and oversee integration across diverse systems and applications.
• Offer architectural expertise for projects involving data migration, modernization, and analytics enhancements.
