Data Annotation Specialist - Computer Vision (Remote Contract)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Computer Vision Data Annotation Specialist for a contract role that offers remote work. This position involves detailed annotation and review of image and video data specifically focused on hand pose landmarks. The role demands careful examination and precise labeling to ensure the highest quality of training data for machine learning models.

Responsibilities

• Carefully review and tag images and video frames highlighting detailed hand pose landmarks.
• Identify and confirm correct labeling of left and right hands across different scenarios.
• Detect, flag, and document complex cases like partial occlusion and motion blur.
• Follow strict annotation guidelines and quality standards to guarantee data consistency and reliability.
• Manage large volumes of data with a focus on maintaining accuracy and productivity.
• Conduct quality assurance checks on previously annotated datasets as required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in annotating images or videos for AI or machine learning initiatives.
• Familiarity and proficiency in using annotation software platforms.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong spatial reasoning abilities.
• Basic understanding of computer vision concepts including landmarks and bounding boxes.
• Prior experience working with hand or human pose estimation datasets or related frameworks is preferred.

Compensation and Commitment

This is a contract position offering hourly pay ranging from $21 to $70 depending on experience and quality. The expected weekly commitment is between 10 to 40 hours, providing flexibility for the contributor.
