About the Role and Organization
Erskine Stewart's Melville Schools (ESMS) located in Edinburgh, Scotland, are currently seeking a Data and Reporting Analyst to join their ICT team on a permanent, full-time basis, working 36.25 hours per week across the Queensferry Road and Ravelston sites. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection, management, and storage of large and complex data sets relevant to school operations.
- Analyze data to detect trends, patterns, and actionable insights that support decision-making.
- Develop, update, and maintain various dashboards, reporting tools, and data models to facilitate efficient information presentation.
Candidate Requirements
- A degree in a relevant field is essential.
- Experience working with extensive and complex data collections.
- Proficient skills in analyzing data and creating dynamic reports and dashboards.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Desirable qualifications include experience with cloud-based data platforms, familiarity with Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), and certifications in Power BI, SQL, or Data Analytics.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary ranges from £34,023 to £37,690, depending on skills and experience.
