Position Overview

Join Linktree as a Data Analyst within the Business Analytics team, working at the nexus of product development, growth strategies, and executive decision-making. This role involves transforming vast datasets from millions of creators and billions of monthly users into actionable insights to inform what products to develop, audiences to target, and growth opportunities to pursue.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with Product Managers, marketers, and senior leadership to identify opportunities, implement new product launches, assess performance, and guide key business metrics.
End-to-end ownership of analytical projects from defining the question, querying data using SQL, modeling, creating visualizations, through to delivering clear, actionable recommendations.
Develop and maintain dashboards and self-service analytical tools (such as Hex and Amplitude), ensuring they evolve alongside the business needs.
Partner with Analytics Engineering to define and document critical business and product metrics to ensure consistent interpretation across the organization.
Translate complex data insights into clear language accessible to non-technical stakeholders through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
Champion rigorous data practices including standardized metric definitions, reproducible queries, and version-controlled analyses.

Candidate Profile

2 to 3 years experience in data, business, or product analysis within fast-paced consumer or B2B product sectors.
Proficient in SQL with familiarity in advanced functions such as joins, window functions, CTEs, and ability to model event-level data for stakeholder use.
Experience with modern data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift and BI tools such as Looker, Mode, or Tableau.
Adept at clarifying ambiguous business inquiries into scoped analyses that deliver recommendations, not just data visualizations.
Strong communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate effectively with non-technical team members.
Thrives in environments offering autonomy and navigates ambiguity well, motivated by results impacting product decisions.
Eligible for hybrid work in SF, LA, Sydney, Melbourne offices or fully remote within those locations.

Compensation & Benefits

The role offers a competitive total package including salary, equity, and benefits. For positions based in San Francisco or Los Angeles, base salary ranges from $160,000 to $170,000, adjusted by experience, expertise, and location.
