Role Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Customer Service Yard Hand to join our Mackay branch. This role involves overseeing daily yard operations and logistics within the branch, providing excellent customer service, and supporting the supervisory team to ensure smooth daily activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily logistics and yard operations effectively.
• Respond promptly and courteously to telephone inquiries.
• Welcome and assist walk-in customers and guests professionally.
• Support yard operations such as filling cylinders and loading or unloading vehicles.
• Assist Yard Supervisor and Branch Manager with daily operational needs.
• Promote Supagas and its product benefits to customers.
• Handle enquiries professionally, ensuring thorough follow-up and resolution.
• Process online, email, and fax orders, perform ring-around calls, handle banking, and balance cash transactions.

Skills and Experience Required

• Possession of a forklift license is preferred.
• Previous delivery experience is beneficial.
• Strong customer service skills with prior experience in customer-facing roles.
• A positive “YES WE CAN” attitude toward customer service.
• Excellent communication abilities.
