Job Overview

Act as a vital link coordinating administrative tasks for customer service parts ordering, servicing internal teams and multiple international markets including ASEAN, US, EU, and globally. Collaborate closely with vendors and Makino SCM for seamless parts procurement and fulfillment, while assisting internal engineers with part specifications and technical details.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Meet SPC part sales targets to drive business advancement and organizational growth.
  • Efficiently manage order desk responsibilities inherent to customer service coordination.
  • Strictly comply with Makino's QEHS standards and job processes to uphold quality benchmarks.
  • Improve spare parts processing from quotation through ordering to shipping, focusing on pricing, responsiveness, and lead times.
  • Support spare parts pricing management and generate weekly/monthly reports covering quotations, purchasing, sales, and shipments.
  • Maintain accurate records of parts movements within systems ensuring safety stock levels.
  • Organize filing and documentation aligned with ISO standards related to spare parts sales.
  • Coordinate with Finance departments regarding payment processing, shipment updates, and PGI matters.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives to foster organizational learning.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior service coordinators.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or similar fields.
  • At least 3 years experience in data entry and order processing functions.
  • Strong computer and administrative capabilities.
  • Understanding of Freight Forwarding processes and principles.
  • Quick learner with ability to adapt swiftly to changing work conditions.
  • Self-driven and capable of working independently.
  • Familiarity with SAP systems is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications considered a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a high-pressure and fast-moving environment.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Chinese is a beneficial asset.
