Role Overview
This position calls for an accomplished Curriculum Manager to shape, roll out, and continually refine educational curricula and learning programs. The role is responsible for protecting curriculum quality, academic standards, compliance requirements, and alignment with institutional goals, accreditation expectations, and learner outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Create curriculum plans that support institutional goals, education standards, accreditation criteria, and best practices in the sector.
- Guide the design, evaluation, and ongoing enhancement of curricula, course structures, learning journeys, instructional content, and assessment models.
- Work closely with academic leadership, faculty, instructional designers, subject experts, student services, quality teams, and senior management to build effective learning experiences.
- Keep curriculum content aligned with national standards, accreditation frameworks, internal policies, and expected learning outcomes.
- Track performance indicators such as learner achievement, course completion, student feedback, curriculum effectiveness, assessment quality, faculty adoption, and overall program results.
- Perform curriculum mapping, gap reviews, benchmarking, and educational research to identify improvements and new ideas.
- Oversee the creation of teaching resources, digital learning assets, faculty guides, assessment materials, and curriculum records.
- Support the use of educational technology, LMS platforms, student information systems, blended learning, online delivery, competency-based learning, and AI-supported education tools where suitable.
- Manage curriculum approval workflows, academic governance tasks, accreditation preparation, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Use LMS, SIS, Microsoft Office, Power BI, curriculum platforms, and analytics tools to monitor performance and produce reports.
- Prepare curriculum updates, accreditation files, academic performance dashboards, leadership reports, and strategic recommendations.
- Lead and coach curriculum specialists, instructional designers, academic coordinators, and other education teams while encouraging innovation, inclusion, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Instructional Design, Educational Leadership, Learning Technologies, or a similar discipline is preferred.
- A master’s degree in Education, Curriculum Development, Educational Leadership, Instructional Design, or an associated field is highly desirable.
- At least 5 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, academic program management, education, or a comparable area.
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading curriculum teams, academic programs, or instructional design projects is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum design methods, instructional design principles, learning theory, assessment approaches, accreditation standards, and quality assurance practices.
- Hands-on experience with LMS, SIS, curriculum management systems, Microsoft Office, Power BI, and education analytics tools.
- Exposure to online learning, blended learning, competency-based education, accessibility practices, AI-enabled learning tools, and educational innovation is an advantage.
- Well-developed leadership, analytical, organizational, project management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Capability to build strong curricula that improve learner outcomes while balancing academic quality, compliance, innovation, and institutional priorities.
- Comfortable working independently in remote and hybrid education settings.
