Role Overview

The Crew Duty Officer will play a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective management of crew activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate flight departures and arrivals while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
• Support real-time decision-making in partnership with Crew Duty Controllers to maintain smooth operations.
• Manage crew rostering and monitor performance to uphold safety, efficiency, and compliance standards.
• Drive continuous improvements through strategic projects to enhance departmental processes.
• Handle accurate data collection and analysis related to crew activities.
• Communicate flight statuses effectively and ensure availability of fully trained crews ready for departure.
• Address and resolve operational challenges promptly to uphold operational excellence and safety culture.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant will hold a degree and have at least four years of experience in crew operations, scheduling, or planning within the airline industry, preferably within a 24/7 operational setting. Candidates should be adept at managing crew data, ensuring roster compliance, and quickly identifying and resolving operational constraints. Experience with Operations Control and Crew Center systems is highly desirable. The role demands the ability to make swift, informed decisions under pressure during disruptions and critical timeframes. Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with crew members, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities are essential.
