Role Overview

We are searching for a Creative Project Manager who blends the roles of producer, coordinator, and problem solver. This position is pivotal within our creative production team, managing the full lifecycle of photo and video projects including initial planning, production execution, post-production, and final delivery. The role is also focused on developing scalable operational frameworks, best practices, and process improvements to support the growth of our Services division.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead the entire production process for creative client projects covering photo, video, motion graphics, and creator content.
  • Manage project timelines, budget, deliverables, and resource allocation from inception to completion.
  • Act as the main liaison among clients, internal teams, freelancers, creators, and vendors.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously while balancing priorities and adapting to schedule changes.
  • Develop detailed production schedules, shoot plans, call sheets, and manage all logistical aspects including locations, talent, equipment, travel, and permits.
  • Create and monitor budgets, sourcing and managing production vendors and partners.
  • Collaborate with strategists and creative teams to ensure production aligns with campaign goals.
  • Mitigate risks proactively to avoid delays or issues during production.
  • Supervise on-set operations, serve as primary contact on shoot days, and adapt quickly to evolving requirements.
  • Coordinate post-production workflows, including editing, motion graphics, feedback, and asset delivery to maintain high quality and timely completion.
  • Foster transparent and proactive communication with clients and stakeholders through meetings, presentations, and status updates.
  • Build and enhance operational systems such as workflows, templates, documentation, and standards to elevate production efficiency and collaboration.
  • Travel approximately 25% for production-related activities as required.

Candidate Profile

  • Excellent organizational skills paired with creativity and adaptability.
  • Thrives in high-pressure scenarios and makes confident decisions swiftly.
  • Communicates proactively to keep all parties informed.
  • Resourceful and solution-driven with comfort navigating uncertainty.
  • Collaborative team player who values cross-functional cooperation.
  • Keen interest in building new operational systems rather than solely managing existing ones.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in creative project or production management, integrated production, or agency operations.
  • Proven track record managing commercial photo and video productions from concept through post-production.
  • Strong skills in scheduling, budgeting, vendor coordination, and project execution.
  • Experienced in client-facing roles presenting production plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Capable of managing external production companies, freelancers, and creative vendors.
  • Familiarity with workflows for creator content, motion graphics, and post-production processes.
  • Proficient with project management and collaboration platforms such as Asana, Monday.com, Airtable, Notion, Google Workspace, Slack, Frame.io, or equivalents.
  • Preferably with a background in agencies or production companies.
  • Willing to travel up to one quarter of the time for shoots and client meetings.

Compensation & Location

Salary range for this role is between $85,000 and $95,000 annually, determined by market data and individual qualifications.
