Role overview
This position is focused on strengthening Council’s procurement and contract administration support so the organisation can achieve open, ethical, and value-driven outcomes for the community. The role offers guidance on procurement matters, helps ensure compliance with procurement policy and probity standards, and drives practical improvements that make purchasing processes simpler, more consistent, and more effective across the business.
What you will be doing
You will act as a trusted adviser to stakeholders, helping them navigate procurement processes and apply the right standards. The role involves supporting policy compliance, maintaining probity requirements, building procurement capability across teams, and identifying opportunities to improve the way procurement is delivered.

The Council is looking for an experienced procurement professional, preferably with exposure to local government or the wider public sector.
