Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cook specializing in sandwiches and salads to join our team based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. This full-time position requires onsite presence to work collaboratively with the kitchen staff and ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Precisely measure ingredients required for meal preparation as specified by the Station Chef.
- Arrange and present food items following instructions from the Station Chef to maintain quality and appearance.
- Receive and inspect deliveries, ensuring all items meet quality standards and are delivered punctually.
- Prepare essential sauces and salads under the guidance of the Station Chef.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all workstations through regular cleaning duties.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify the restaurant Supervisor about any shortages or depleted supplies.
- Properly discard any spoiled or expired food products stored in freezers, refrigerators, and stock rooms to comply with safety standards.
- Prepare meal components by seasoning various meats and performing tasks such as chopping, peeling, and washing fruits and vegetables.
