The dm logistics center in Wustermark, established in 2020, stands as one of our most advanced sites. More than 350 employees leverage cutting-edge technology to ensure supply for dm stores across northern and eastern Germany. Your Role

Join us to make an impact as part of a dedicated team. You will work within a structured rotating shift system from Monday to Friday, typically consisting of three weeks morning shifts, one week evening shifts, and once every quarter, one week night shifts.

Your responsibilities include:

• Ensuring smooth operations in our canteen and supporting the kitchen team in daily meal preparation by organizing workflows and preparing necessary ingredients, all while maintaining oversight even during busy times.
• Independently preparing salads, desserts, and various side dishes with creativity and attention to quality, freshness, and appealing presentation; you will also manage our daily breakfast offerings.
• Providing friendly and service-oriented interaction with employees at meal service, contributing to a positive dining environment.
• Actively participating in menu planning by contributing your ideas and assisting with receiving and properly storing delivered goods.
• Upholding high hygiene and quality standards by maintaining kitchen cleanliness and ensuring consistent compliance with HACCP guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills

• Preferably, you have experience in gastronomy, communal catering, or a comparable field; more importantly, you should be enthusiastic about fresh food, quality meals, and excellent service.
• You hold a valid health certificate or are willing to obtain one promptly.
• You demonstrate an independent and responsible work ethic, reliability, and strong team spirit.
• You have good command of the German language, both spoken and written.
• You enjoy interacting with people, communicate effectively, and foster a respectful working atmosphere.
• You are prepared to work within a regulated rotating shift system including morning, evening, and occasional night shifts.
