Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead the External Painting project at Rustomjee Social Housing in Thane. The role demands hands-on experience with painting operations, scaffolding, safety protocols, and cradle usage. Your responsibilities will involve labor management, ensuring safety compliance, client coordination, and maintaining project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and organize external painting activities on-site.
• Strictly enforce safety protocols, particularly for work at heights.
• Oversee cradle operations for painting high-rise structures.
• Distribute tasks among workers and uphold quality control standards.
• Prepare daily progress reports and communicate updates to project managers.
• Inspect materials, tools, and equipment to confirm proper usage and upkeep.
• Liaise with clients, engineers, and vendors to facilitate smooth operations.
• Identify and address on-site challenges to prevent delays.
• Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks for site teams.
• Ensure adherence to governmental regulations and safety guidelines.

Candidate Requirements

• 1-2 years of site supervision experience, preferably in external painting projects.
• Thorough understanding of painting techniques, materials, and quality benchmarks.
• Knowledge of cradle operations and scaffolding preferred.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and personal protective equipment requirements.
• Capability to manage a sizable workforce effectively.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
• Availability and readiness to work full-time on-site and adjust to project needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related disciplines.
• Certification in safety or height work is advantageous.
