Construction Helper

Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and diligent Construction Helper to support daily activities on our construction site. This role involves assisting skilled tradespeople, maintaining site tidiness, and carrying out fundamental construction tasks to promote a secure and organized work environment.

Key Duties

• Provide assistance to construction workers including carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other skilled laborers as required.
• Unload and load construction materials and distribute them appropriately across the site.
• Assemble and dismantle ladders, scaffolding, and temporary site structures.
• Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
• Ensure work areas, tools, and equipment are cleaned at the end of each workday.
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols, consistently using proper personal protective equipment.
• Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
• Manage deliveries and keep track of construction material inventory.
• Execute other labor-related duties as assigned by the site supervisor.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in construction or general labor is advantageous but not compulsory.
• Good physical fitness with the capability to lift heavy objects.
• Willingness to work outdoors under varying weather conditions.
• Possess a strong work ethic and maintain a positive attitude.
• Basic knowledge of safety standards applicable to construction sites.
• Able to follow instructions and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
