Concrete Foreman

About the Role

Maple Reinders is looking for a seasoned Concrete Foreman to lead field teams and manage day-to-day concrete activities across projects in Bradford, Wasaga Beach, and nearby locations. The position demands hands-on leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and top-quality concrete work that aligns with project timelines, productivity goals, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and manage concrete crews during daily field tasks.
• Organize and oversee formwork setup, concrete pouring, and workflow sequencing.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings accurately.
• Ensure work is executed safely, precisely, and meets quality benchmarks.
• Implement company safety policies and contribute to daily safety briefings.
• Track task productivity, labor allocation, and workmanship quality.
• Collaborate with Superintendents, Project Managers, and various trade professionals.
• Maintain correct timesheet entries and cost coding.
• Supervise the correct usage of tools, equipment, and supplies.

Qualifications & Experience

• At least five years of experience in concrete construction.
• Preferably has prior leadership experience as Lead Hand or Foreman.
• In-depth understanding of concrete formwork, placing, and finishing techniques.
• Skilled in layout, elevation verification, and tolerance maintenance.
• Experience in heavy civil or infrastructure projects is advantageous.

Working Conditions

• Primarily field-based role within active construction zones.
• Physically intensive duties performed in diverse weather conditions.
• Potential travel requirements depending on project sites.

• Hourly wage between $46.76 and $49.14, with an additional 10% foreman premium.
