Position Overview
The Compliance Lead will work closely with personnel at all organizational levels, including Store and Market Management, as well as Subject Matter Experts. This role focuses on educating associates and managers about compliance programs while monitoring compliance controls within the designated facility. Core responsibilities include identifying root causes of issues, implementing corrective measures, and fostering continuous improvement to build trust among customers, associates, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote compliance and safety awareness using available Ethics and Compliance resources.
- Conduct compliance assessments in assigned areas such as Health & Safety, Fire Code, Environmental regulations, Consumer Protection, Anti-Money Laundering, Food Safety & Pest Control, Privacy & Employment laws, Licenses & Permits, and Anti-Corruption policies.
- Provide immediate compliance training across all levels within the facility, including new associate orientations.
- Analyze compliance data to detect program execution gaps or trends, determine root causes, and assist in creating and implementing action plans to mitigate risks and enhance compliance.
- Participate in regulatory inspections (excluding Health & Wellness and HR issues), manage related online submissions, and coordinate with relevant partners to resolve fines or orders.
- Manage the process concerning hourly associate accident files, including submission, investigation, modified offers, and follow-up until cases are closed.
- Maintain open communication with Store Management to handle attendance records, progress notes, and accountability.
- Assist in collecting and verifying necessary documentation for customer claim files.
- Submit and track facilities maintenance requests, especially related to pest activity management.
- Use escalation tools to resolve issues and clear outstanding tickets effectively.
- Conduct safety walks and inspections as part of the safety team, following up on action items from meetings and inspection notes.
Compensation
The starting hourly wage for this position is $19.60.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old.
