Role Overview
This position is dedicated to supporting the company’s commercial objectives by examining revenue trends, pricing strategies, and market dynamics to foster profitable growth and well-informed decisions. The analyst will assess commercial outcomes, create pricing models, track revenue indicators, and deliver actionable insights aimed at enhancing profitability, customer value, and competitive stance.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively across multiple departments including sales, finance, marketing, product management, business development, operations, customer success, and executive leadership to build data-driven commercial plans aligned with corporate goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pricing analysis and develop revenue forecasts and profitability evaluations.
- Research market and competitors, segment customers, and perform financial modeling.
- Prepare sales reporting, develop dashboards, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Utilize artificial intelligence and predictive analytics to pinpoint revenue opportunities.
- Support pricing governance and continuously improve commercial performance and strategic planning.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, Marketing, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines; advanced degrees such as Masters, MBA, or equivalents are strongly preferred.
- Prior experience in commercial, pricing, revenue, business, or financial analysis roles, showcasing a deep understanding of commercial strategy, revenue management, profitability, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python or R for analytical purposes; familiarity with ERP platforms like SAP, Oracle Cloud, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and tools such as Anaplan and SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Knowledge of artificial intelligence, generative AI, machine learning, predictive analytics, revenue optimization software, cloud services, business intelligence, automation, and digital transformation is highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving capabilities to interpret complex data sets, identify pricing potential, optimize revenues, assess financial risks, and provide data-driven strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills to collaborate across finance, sales, marketing, leadership, product teams, and regional units.
- Experience with enterprise pricing programs, commercial transformation, sales planning, go-to-market strategies, ERP implementations, and revenue optimization initiatives is highly valuable.
- Capability to manage multiple analytical projects, meet deadlines, maintain data quality, and deliver accurate insights within a dynamic commercial environment.
- Professional certifications such as CMA, CFA, FMVA, Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Tableau Data Analyst, Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate, or other finance and analytics credentials are a plus.
