About The Role and Organization

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct provider-centered training sessions on clinical information systems, workflows, and system updates using adult education techniques coupled with hands-on approaches.
- Offer direct support during provider onboarding, clinical projects, system launches, and stabilization phases.
- Create and maintain educational resources such as training manuals, job aids, workflow documentation, and user guides.
- Serve as a communication bridge between healthcare providers, clinical leadership, and IT teams to translate clinical needs into system improvements.
- Assist with system implementations, upgrades, and workflow adjustments to enhance provider preparedness and system adoption.
- Observe and analyze clinical workflows to propose opportunities for optimization and standardization.
- Collaborate with Operations and IT Application Analysts to ensure system configurations align with clinical best practices.
- Assess new clinical technologies, workflows, and tools for clinical usability and impact.
- Encourage the adoption of uniform workflows that balance clinical efficiency and provider satisfaction.
- Support governance processes, change management activities, and communication strategies related to clinical system updates.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, safety, and quality standards throughout system use.
- Provide after-hours support as necessary during major system events.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives focusing on workflow enhancement, automation, AI tools, and analytics integration.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Minimum of five years' experience within healthcare settings with direct involvement in clinical workflows or provider-facing roles.
- Proven background in provider education, training facilitation, or workflow support activities.
- Experience using electronic health records (EHR) or clinical information systems is advantageous.
- Active or recently held clinical licensure such as RN, LPN, MA, or equivalent is mandatory.
- Additional certifications in Clinical Informatics, training, or education are considered beneficial.
