Overview
OroMed, a Health Bridge subsidiary, specializes in improving dental care accessibility. They connect patients from federally funded clinics with licensed dentists remotely through live telehealth, delivering care to historically underserved populations.
Role Summary
The Clinical Assistant will be based in Selma, CA, working full-time Monday to Friday with 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedules. The pay range is $21 to $24 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the on-site liaison between patients and remote dentists during live video dental examinations.
- Operate the intraoral camera to provide live visuals for dentist evaluation.
- Welcome and reassure patients to make virtual consultations feel personalized and comfortable.
- Gather medical histories and organize patient records for the dental practitioners.
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of patient interactions.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Hold a Medical or Dental Assistant Certification.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills.
- Have current immunizations and TB screening.
- Be bilingual in Spanish.
Desired Qualifications (Optional)
- Knowledge of dental instruments and terminology.
- Current CPR or BLS certification.
- Previous healthcare or customer service experience.
- Completion of an 8-hour Infection Control Certificate.
- Certification in the California Dental Practice Act.
