Cleaning Operative

Job Overview

We seek dedicated full-time cleaning operatives to join our team at a residential care facility located in Bray, County Wicklow. This role requires an average of 35 working hours weekly, spread across Monday to Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum carpets and mop or buff floors thoroughly.
• Clean toilets and polish glass and brass fixtures.
• Collect refuse and dispose of it appropriately.
• Operate cleaning products and equipment safely following COSHH guidelines.
• Place safety signs during cleaning activities to alert others.
• Report any damages or safety hazards immediately.
• Maintain vigilance on security matters and report suspicious behavior.
• Participate in job-related training sessions as required.
• Perform any additional tasks as assigned.
• Collaborate effectively within team settings and deliver outstanding customer service.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven good employment record; prior cleaning experience preferred.
• Familiarity with using cleaning apparatus is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of health and safety protocols.
• Capability to work autonomously and manage workload efficiently.
• Attributes including flexibility, honesty, and dependability.
• Successful Garda vetting clearance is mandatory.
